Why Barrier Films Are So Important
Oxygen is the greatest enemy of high-quality silage.
Even a few cm³ per m² per day can cause fermentation losses, heating, and mold.
Standard films allow about 200–250 cm³/m²/24h, while barrier films allow about 20 cm³.
The V12, on the other hand, allows <0.5 cm³/m²/24h—making it 400–500 times more impermeable!
V12 Silver Cover
Europe's first 11-layer barrier film with the DLG seal. With a gas permeability of <0.5 cm³/m²/24h, it is up to 500 times more impermeable than standard silage films. Thanks to its 80µ thickness, it is extremely easy to lay and yet extremely stretch-resistant and tear-resistant.
V12 Green Line
Our best barrier film, featuring 11 layers and a thickness of 100µ. With a gas permeability of <0.5 cm³/m²/24h, it protects your silage from oxygen just as effectively as the proven V12 Silver Cover. Thanks to its 100µ thickness, it’s still easy to lay while offering extra stretch and tear resistance.
